Please contact us for a return authorization number before sending items back. Return shipments that do not include an RMA# will be returned to sender.

Returns are accepted on NEW, UNUSED items within 15 days of delivery. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Orders that qualify for free shipping will have the original shipping cost deducted from the refund amount. Items that are received by the customer as defective or not as described can also be returned for a full refund or exchange within 5 days of delivery. All original accessories, packaging, tags, etc. must be included and in new condition when returning any item. Flashlights, knives, and any other items that show sign of wear or are not in 100% brand new, original condition will not be accepted for return. We will verify any defective claims on returned items. Items must be shipped to us within five business days of initiating the return. Processing the return can take up to ten business days after receiving the item.

Purchases made thru the our website and then shipped to the customers. The item is returned to our retail store for exchange or refund will be charged a 15% stocking fee.

The 15% stocking fees is to recouped the charges for the cost of the shipping like the shipping fees and the cost of our shipper's labour in preparing the parcel.

Abuse Testing: We will not accept returns on flashlights or other items that were abuse, water, or otherwise tested outside of basic functional operation. If the light fails during your testing, it will then be a warranty issue if the manufacturer's warranty covers the issue. Please check the manufacturer's warranty policy for coverage and the user manual for proper care.

Personal Preference: Personal preference issues such as LED tint, pre-flash, inductor whine, minor cosmetic issues that do not affect the function of the product, battery life, LED centering, output levels, etc. will not be considered defective issues when returning items.

Items Excluded From Return: Batteries (primary and rechargeable) will not be eligible for return unless received as defective. Items that would have a possible hygiene issue such as underwear, whistles, first aid kits, etc. will not be eligible for return unless received as defective.

Excessive Returns: Customers that have a history showing an excessive number of returns may be required to pay a 15-30% restocking fee on any returned items. 

 

PROOF OF PURCHASE & RETURN ADDRESS FOR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If there is no proof of purchase such as an invoice or a packing slip, we cannot honor your warranty. Please keep your invoices/packing slip in a safe place. If products are returned, it must be in a salable condition. We only service defective flashlights that has been brought

directly from our website – j2ledflashlight.com or from our retail locations.

PRODUCT & MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

J2ledflashlights adheres to the same guidelines for product and manufacturer warranties.

Please do not ship us the defective flashlight(s) until you contact us first. We will do our best to determine what the problem is and whether or not it should be sent to us for repairs. In most instances, we have found that many flashlights just require a bit of cleaning and periodic maintenance. 

If the item(s) are deemed defective, the flashlight(s) must be returned to us for further inspection and repair. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Please insure your package as j2ledflashlights is not responsible for lost shipments. Again, please contact us first before returning a product for exchange, refund or repair under warranty.

 International Returns: 

Customer will be responsible for 100% of the return shipping on international return shipments. We will test all flashlights for basic functionality before shipping any international flashlight shipment. Please keep in mind that we will not reimburse return shipping on international orders for any reason other than one that was our mistake. We will help with any warranty issues detailed in our warranty policy, but will not reimburse for the international shipping required to get the product to us. 

Warranties on Brand Name Nnives :

All warranty issues have to go through the manufacturer regardless of the brand.
Please note that blade centering on folding knives is not considered a defect.

NO RETURNS ON KNIVES.

Shipping costs are always the customers’ responsibility, the only exception being if we sent you an incorrect item, in which case return shipping will be reimbursed as described below.

While we try very hard to make sure all orders are sent out correct and in a timely manner, mistakes do happen and sometimes the wrong item gets shipped. If there was a mistake in your order, contact us right away by phone or email and we will work with you to correct the mistake, which may involve getting the incorrect item sent back. In these cases the only acceptable method of return shipping is Canada Post regular ground service (unless otherwise directed by our staff). Use of any other shipping method will result in partial reimbursement only.

 

 

SHIPPING DEFECTIVE ITEMS OUTSIDE OF CANADA

If you are shipping outside of Canada, please declare the package as "Flashlight under warranty". This will quickly clear through customs without much hassle. Again, please notify us first before shipping the defective flashlight, otherwise, we will not acknowledge it.
