Overview

The Fenix TK21 can be powered by a pair of CR123A batteries or a single 18650 battery. During testing with a 18650 battery, the unit was able to go to maximum brightness of 468 lumens which is thanks to the powerful CREE XM-L U2. It was able to run for 1 hour and 50 minutes and reach a maximum throw distance of 214 meters. The long throw distance is partly due to the deep reflector of the unit. You can use it for both tactical and practical applications and it can expand its usefulness when optional accessories like a rail mount or a remote switch are added.

Mode selection

A single depress on the side button switch to select the brightness levels in the order of Turbo→Low→Mid→High. Depress and hold the side button switch to enter into the strobe mode, and vice versa; The light can memorize any brightness level when switched off except the strobe mode.
