Overview

Perhaps the mini version of a search light can be seen in the Nitecore EA41. It can push out 960 lumens of light with its single CREE XM-L2 T6 LED and it can reach a distance of 315 meters. Powered by readily available 4 AA batteries it can run for as long as 1 hour and 45 minutes and when they are spent you can get more AAs just about anywhere. Unlike bulky and heavy searchlights the EA41 is only 117mm long, the head diameter is only 40mm and its tail diameter is 41.8mm. It is lightweight compared to others as it only weighs 151 grams without batteries and you might be adding 80-100 grams with 4 AAs.
